Money for Training

Skillset's Film Skills Fund is the largest fund in the UK dedicated to support Film specific training.
Skillset has distributed around £7 million in grants a year, since the fund was established in April 2004 by Skillset and the UK Film Council to support the delivery of A Bigger Future - the UK Film Skills Strategy.
Grants for individuals & freelancers:
Also called Screen Bursaries, are money for you to spend on training. You could get up to a maximum of £800 to spend on training if you are a freelancer and up to a maximum of £500 if you are in permanent employment.
Grants for organisations:
Support the development, delivery or facilitation of film specific training programmes for existing film professionals or company development and training linked to production. Higher and Further Education (FE) institutions can also apply.
