Animation Forum - Terms of Reference
The Forum will meet four times a year to ensure a strategic approach to the training needs of the animation sector within the UK industry and within Skillset’s work as the Sector Skills Council for the Creative Media Industries.
The Terms of Reference are:
- To guide the development of policy, strategy and project development in all aspects of Skillset's work in the animation sector.
- To provide information and intelligence on labour market trends and on current and projected training and skills needs.
- To work with Skillset to develop, implement and manage an accreditation model for Higher Education courses in animation.
- To provide sector specific input on the development and implementation of standards and vocational qualifications across training and education provision.
- To provide a forum for information exchange, discussion, co-ordination and co-operation.
- To assist Skillset in achieving proper and effective communication with all parts of the animation sector.
- To assist in marketing and promoting Skillset and its goals and objectives.
