The University of Teesside is on one compact site in the centre of Middlesbrough. All the teaching facilities, support services, student accommodation and the Students' Union are within easy walking distance. The campus blends traditional buildings with eye-catching new facilities, the result of the University's investment of nearly £100m in recent years.
This comprehensive animation degree covers everything from fundamental traditional skills to the current state-of-the-art techniques. Students specialise in 2D and 3D animation, scriptwriting and professional animation studio pre-production, sound, production and practice, with options in character animation, effects and technical animation.
Students have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience by spending Year 3 in industry. This will most probably be with a computer animation company or in a related area such as computer games or multimedia.
