Profile: Ravensbourne College of Design and Communications
Run by a professional team, with direct involvement in relevant industries, the Foundation course in Visualisation and Animation offers many opportunities to explore digital animation and related areas. The course can be followed by a "top up" third year of study leading to a BA (Hons) Animation.
Set in an 18 acre campus in Chislehurst, Ravensbourne is just 20 minutes away from Central London. From 2010 the course will be held in a new purpose built central London facility by the 02 centre, Greenwich.
Animation students can also take apart in "Rave on Air" the largest student run broadcast event in the UK providing the opportunity to work alongside students from creative sound design and broadcast courses. Students also get the chance to work alongside leading animation, games and post-production companies.
