BAA Student Award Winners
Best Student Film at the biennial British Animation Awards has been won by T.O.M, directed by Tom Brown and Daniel Gray produced at the University of Wales, Newport (one of Skillset's 6 industry endorsed animation courses).
The Film also shared the Public Choice award with another Welsh based Director and animator Joanna Quinn for her film Dreams and Desires: Family Ties.
The film was praised for its technical brilliance and its bizarre story line about a young boy and his increasingly weird journey to school.
The award was decided by an industry jury and presented to Tom and Dianel at the BAA awards ceremony on March 17th in London.
