Archive material gives us an extraordinary sense of the past, forming a resource that can inform so much today. As such, Skillset is now working to address archiving skills needs right across the Creative Media Industries.
Based on industry feedback, Skillset has now developed an Archive Skills Strategy to highlight the skills issues across the Creative Media Industries, and to outline the steps needed to address these.

Archive Skills Strategy
The strategy is the first step in addressing the needs of the industry, from film and television to photo imaging and radio. Over the coming months, Skillset will be developing a number of resources such as further information on the industry, how to enter it and progress in it, and training opportunities.
