Skillset Careers are committed to achieving a more diverse workforce in the industries we represent. We provide advice to people from all walks of life and aim to remove any barriers holding people back from pursuing a career in the media.
Our services are accessible to everyone:
Face-to-face sessions
- Our London office is fully wheelchair accessible and has undergone a disability access check. Most of our regional and national offices are also fully accessible, and we will make necessary adjustments if and when required.
- If you live in a remote area, and travelling to one of our regional or national centres is a problem for you, we will try to work out a way to make sure that you don't miss out.
- If you're receiving benefits, or are on a low income, and are unable to pay for your guidance session, it is our policy to significantly reduce or waive the fee.
Skillset's Head Office at Focus Point is fully compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act.
An induction loop is installed in the room in which our Careers Advice sessions take place.

Helpline
- If you call our England helpline on 08080 300 900, you will be able to speak to a trained Skillset Careers advisor using Typetalk or Minicom.
- To contact an advisor by minicom, please prefix 08080 300 900 with 18001. You will then enter a confidential 3 way call with an RNID Typetalk advisor and a learndirect advisor.
- If you'd like to call an advisor direct using a minicom only, please dial 08000 568 865.
Promotional material and literature
- If you want any of our materials in a format that's accessible for you, let us know, and we'll produce for you in large print, Braille, audiotape or PC formatted disc formats.
