Hybu amrywiaeth

Getting or keeping a job in the media is a full time effort in itself. If you have a disability, come from a minority ethnic background or have other barriers in your way when you're trying to get a job, then it can be even tougher.

Skillset's Employment Census 2006 shows that:

  • Only 38% of audio visual employees are women
  • Only 7.4% of employees are from minority ethnic groups
  • Employees with disabilities account for only 1.0% of the workforce

Our industry needs a more diverse workforce, and we are here to support that. We've produced a Diversity Policy, Strategy and Action Plan to set out our overall approach to diversity, both within Skillset and in the media industries. See below what this means for you.

Making it easy

We're committed to achieving a more diverse workforce and so all our services are fully accessible to everyone.
