BBC jobs – Site details of  vacancies and traineeships within the BBC, register your details to receive further information.

BCP Search & Selection Ltd UK – BCP specialise in providing recruitment solutions in the broadcast media and communications technology industry, their aim is to have a fully interactive service where you can post your CV details on the site and be automatically notified when a suitable position arises. Companies can also be notified of suitable personnel for a vacancy.

broadcastgraduate.com – A new online service allowing companies in the broadcast and media industries to source the best new graduate talent. Companies post job adverts and search a CV database for graduates of engineering, technology, creative and production degree programmes. For graduates this is a free resource to assist them in starting their career in the industry.

grapevinejobs – A sister organisation to Searchlight, Grapevine lists jobs from runners to chief executives etc.

The Guardian Jobs – Jobs Unlimited from The Guardian newspaper.

JobsNation – Recruitment site with updated positions related to Media, Film and Broadcast.

mad.co.uk – Marketing, media, new media, advertising and design jobs online. An email alert service is available for registered users, alerting you to jobs that match your personal profile.

Mandy – Mandy's International TV & Film Directory.  A film and television job site. Search through related jobs worldwide – some paid , low paid and voluntary.  Jobs offered and jobs wanted pages. Mandy.com can email you weekly with the latest job info.

mediatalentbank – A database of creative individuals and freelancers from the West Midlands region, accessible to companies across the UK. They can open the door to job and placement opportunities and offer you support for free.

monster – Monster provides career advice from writing a CV to essential interview tips and techniques as well listing jobs for every sector.

Pathfinders Media Recruitment  – Pathfinders Media Recruitment is a specialist consultancy that supplies candidates at all levels to the Media and Marketing sectors. Their website deals with many Senior and executive positions but there is also a temp section.

productionbase – An online CV and availability search engine. Freelancers can view jobs on offer and set up their own diary service, employers can post advertisements or browse CV's and contact individuals directly. Registration fee required for full access to the site.

The Runners' Club   is an agency providing runners to many sectors, including TV. They recruit and provide runners for TV, film, radio and photography and other sectors.

SDA Recruit – A site designed to help candidates beginning or advancing their careers in TV media.

searchlight – Recruitment consultants for the broadcast, film and music sectors.  Searchlight specialises in placing clients at executive level.

Shooting People – Independent online network run by film–makers for film–makers. A media discussion forum for ideas, questions, jobs offered and wanted. There is one for production and one for writing and both can be emailed to you daily. Mixture of students, novices and professionals subscribers.

startinTV.com A fee–based service. Freelancers can join the database and update their details online, uploading a CV and photo. Containing information about the different jobs on TV and valuable resources for bringing new people into the TV business.

Step2CollaboTV - a social network for the TV and Film Industry. Join up to collaborate, network & get updates about the latest Jobs. The link takes you directly to their jobs board. 

Talent Manager - freelancers can post CVs and availability info for free. Pro Talent Manager gives enhanced promotion and networking so you can ensure companies employ the people you like to work with.

topjobs – Contains a job list, including those within the media industry.

Totaljobs – Total Jobs has thousands of jobs, including hundreds of media, new media and creative jobs.

totallydigital UK maintain a talent base of creative media professionals, available for both short–term projects and permanent, full or part–time, employment. They work closely with these talents to identify and manage selective introductions to exciting opportunities in the creative industries.

workthing.com – General jobs site, but contains over 10,000 jobs in advertising, media, marketing and other sectors. Lots of useful information, news and case studies for each job sector. Aims to connect all those involved in the world of work. Definitely one of the best!
