BBC One's Life Work One's Life Work is another great site from the BBC, this time providing information on everything from working out what you want to do, to getting your dream job.
BBC Training & Development This website offers broadcast and new media courses to the broadcast industry. Their site lists full details of their face to face training and includes a number of free online modules and guides including the BBC News Styleguide. It also includes interviews with media professionals and a list of broadcast industry events.
Broadcast Journalism Training Council For those wanting to follow a career in broadcast journalism, their aim is to enable people to find out more about the Council and find a recognised course that will suit you.

dfg - Documentary Filmmakers Group An organisation offering resources and support to professional and potential documentary filmmakers. Services include comprehensive training, regular events and advice to the documentary filmmaking community, one-day weekend workshops and weeklong summer training courses abroad. Each course is taught by established media professionals.

FILM Education This is a brilliant resource which has been created for primary and secondary teachers and students using film across the National curriculum. Their aim is to encourage and promote the study of film and cinema within the curriculum. In addition to providing a range of free educational materials, Film Education organise INSET courses, workshops, seminars and events including the National Schools Film Week.

First Film Foundation A charity that exists to help new British writers, producers and directors. They have various initiatives including North by Northwest (screenwriting initiative), Comedy Shorts (short comedy film competition), First Film Fund (completion finance scheme for short films) and New Directions (showcasing British work in the US). FOUR ALL This is Channel 4's link between disabled people and the media. It will enable media companies to work directly with disabled people and vice versa. FOUR ALL is a database designed to help media companies working with Channel 4 to employ more disabled people - as members of crew, cast and audiences. It's also a resource for people at Channel 4 and Film Four.
