NTI CONFERENCE: Your Chance to Exhibit
Date: June 27th 2008.
The Creative Industries Knowledge Exchange project within Creative Exchange is working with the Food & Drink Knowledge Exchange network on a joint conference. The theme is 'getting creative in the food industry' and looks at how the Creative Industries sector can work with and help the Food and Drink sector. There will be a series of speakers for the event that include Lord Haskins and Levi Roots of Dragons Den and Reggae Reggae Sauce fame.
The conference promises to be a major event for the East Midlands, so visit Creative Exchange for further news.
East Midlands Creative Industries NTI Knowledge Exchange is a partnership between De Montfort University and the University of Derby.

View from the Top, a central gallery above Waterstones in Nottingham, is having its first photography open exhibition in support of PhotoVoice. Open to all, and giving new and experienced photographers a chance to show their work to the public. An exciting, diverse selection, highlighting the vast spectrum of the art of photography, including landscape, portrait, wildlife, architectural, abstract, sports and photo-journalism.
The exhibition will finish with a live auction of work unsold during the exhibition.
10% of the profits will support the work of PhotoVoice which runs photography projects in the UK and around the globe. PhotoVoice's mission is to bring about positive social change for marginalised communities by providing them with photographic training to enable them to advocate, express themselves and generate income.
UNIVERSITY OF DERBY - CREATIVE EXCHANGE
The University of Derby's Creative Exchange embraces a range of externally funded initiatives and projects that develop and share knowledge, skills and creativity across the creative industries locally and regionally. Emphasis is on innovative approaches to fostering links, encouraging connectivity and developing cutting edge work between the institution and creative businesses, focussed primarily through the exploration, development and deployment of digital technologies.
