Shoot Liverpool: Photography Competition

Shoot Liverpool is a photographic treasure hunt being held in conjunction with Tate Modern's Shoot London on 19 May. Tate, Open Eye and Shoot Experience get the city's creative juices flowing with an event fusing photography, culture, history and art.
The theme for the treasure hunt is 'Water', a prominent feature of both cities involved. The event is open to everyone with a digital camera and sense of adventure.
Prizes are awarded for the quirkiest photos of the day and selected photos will be exhibited at Open Eye Gallery from 5 - 9 June 2007. Teams require one digital camera.

Best Of Manchester
The Best of Manchester Awards is a new competition designed to celebrate and support the creative energy in our city. It is for original and modern thinkers who are pushing fashion, music and visual arts forwards.
The shortlist will be given an exclusive exhibition at Urbis this summer, and the winners, who will be presented by Manchester's Creative Director, Peter Saville at an awards evening, will also receive a cash prize, publicity and support from their creative industry.

The SUN Awards 2007 will open for entries on 1st May 2007 and close on 30th June 2007.

The competition is open to professional photographers based in the Northern United Kingdom, from Birmingham to Scotland, working within the disciplines of Advertising, Design, Editorial or Fashion. Open to designers from any location, but they may only nominate photographers based in the Northern United Kingdom.

PAVILION ONLINE GALLERY
Pavilion are seeking submissions by photographers based in Yorkshire and the North East of England, to showcase contemporary photographic work through the Online Gallery, a dedicated space on the website, through which they aim to develop access, and increase awareness of local and regional practitioners.

Adobe Design Achievement Awards
The Adobe Design Achievement Awards celebrate student achievement reflecting the powerful convergence of technology and the creative arts. The competition - which showcases individual and group projects created with industry-leading Adobe creative software - honors the most talented and promising student graphic designers, photographers, illustrators, animators, digital filmmakers, and computer artists from the world's top institutions of higher education.
