Brokerage schemes

So how can your company find a Skills Broker?

There are a number of organisations offering skills brokerage. At present, Skillset itself has a scheme which offers film companies the opportunity to apply for free Human Resources consultancy - follow the link below for more details.

The main Government-supported scheme for skills brokerage is Train to Gain. This brokerage service is free and available to all companies and employees throughout England.

The minimum offer is a visit by a Skills Broker to conduct an Organisation Needs Analysis and suggest a plan of Action. Some of your needs may be elligible for public funding.

In Wales, a similar service is available through the Welsh Assembly under the scheme: Skills People Success.
