Your broker will explain the options open to your business, which include:
Funding for leadership and management training
This is available to companies with between 5 and 249 employees.
One business owner or senior manager can access £500 to spend on any sort of management training that would benefit your business. On top of this if you can receive a further £500 if you match it pound for pound.
So a maximum of £1500 is available for a contribution of £500.
You can choose the training provider and the training does not have to be linked to a qualification - coaching, mentoring, short courses, seminars, masterclasses are all eligible. In some English regions there is additional support.
Specialist qualifications and apprenticeships
If your particular industry sector has worked with Skilllset to develop qualifications in priority job areas, those qualifications can be funded for employees through Train to Gain even if they already hold a qualification. NVQs include Photo Imaging, Games Testing, Digital Print Production, Grips and Set Crafts.
