Everyone has a right to know how other people are going to use their personal information. All the information you keep about individual employees, clients and suppliers (and all the information they keep about you) must be:
- Fairly and lawfully processed
- Processed for limited purposes
- Adequate, relevant and not excessive
- Accurate and up to date
- Not kept for longer than is necessary
- Processed in line with your rights
- Secure
- Not transferred to other countries without adequate protection
