"Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little"
Edmund Burke (1729-1797)
Creative Skillset recognise in our day-to-day operations that we inevitably impact on the environment in a number of ways and we wish to minimise the potential harmful effects of such activity wherever and whenever possible.
As an organisation we strive to address the balance of our present needs with future sustainability. We created and then implemented an action plan which is continually being updated when necessary to ensure we have a process of continual improvement and best practice.
We attained Level 1 of the Green Mark; this is an award scheme that enables small and medium sized businesses from any industry to demonstrate to customers and other stakeholders their commitment to ongoing environmental improvement.
All staff are able to get involved and contribute to making our organisation an environmentally-friendly workplace and ensuring a green ethos is in place.
Creative Skillset's Sustainability Aim
To create a working environment where we are conscious of our day-to-day impact on the environment and progressively work to minimise that impact. We will do this by raising employee awareness of the consequences of our actions, promoting the implementation of positive environmental stewardship initiatives and by encouraging employee involvement and recognition.
