Skillset Connects

Skillset Connects brings together different groups of people that Skillset works with to discuss specific topics that are of relevance to all of them.
It's a series of events to facilitate networking and improve understanding of different peoples' perspectives, and the challenges they face, within the industry.
There is at least one event a month, and we work with the Unions and Guilds to ask their members what groupings of people they would like to get together with.
In this section you can read about the different events that we have hosted, find out about upcoming events that may be of interest, and make suggestions for events that you think would be of value to the industry. We are always open to suggestions.
To find out more about these events, or to suggest a future Skillset Connects event please contact Dan Simmons, Skillset's Film Campaigns Manager, at dans@skillset.org.
If you would like to hear more about Skillset's work in film, you can subscribe to the Skillset Connects E-newsletter. This talks about funding and training opportunities, festivals open for submissions, industry research and much more. To be on the subscriber list, please email Susanna Vaughan on - susannav@skillset.org
