The Company Development and Support scheme helps UK independent film businesses (SMEs) by offering a free human resources/training consultancy, with the further option of applying for funding.

The service is provided by a top level consultant with 20 years experience and is someone who has worked in all sectors of the film industry.

Support can include a health check helping you to consider how you function as a management team, your strengths and weaknesses and explores how all your team contribute to business development.  Additionally, if you devise a training plan with our consultant, there is the option for you to apply for a grant to implement the plan.

Human resources support for independent UK film companies was identified as an industry need via ‘A Bigger Future', the UK Film Skills Strategy.
