Organisations Applying to the Film Skills Fund
Organisations can apply for funding to deliver training for industry professionals in the UK film industry.
2008 Skillset Film Skills Fund comprises the following four different funding programmes; each has its own deadline date for applications:

General Note:
Our Funding Priorities for each of the Skillset funds are released approximately six weeks before their closing dates.
Structured New Entrant Training - Deadline 24 October 2008
This funding programme aims to address the specific industry requirements for Skillset funded schemes in 2008/09, taking into account current training and education provision in the UK.
Projects supported under Structured New Entrants Training will help the Skillset Film Skills Fund and the Skillset TV Freelance Fund to achieve their aim of "Bringing the UK film and TV Industries a competitive edge, enabling us to compete in the global market place on the basis of the highest level of skills".

Innovation Bursary 2008/09 - Deadline 30 January 2009
The aim of this programme is to support the research and development of new and innovative training programmes.

Following successful piloting of the Skillset Film Skills Fund's Company Development support over the past three years, we are pleased to announce a new round of support for independent companies within the UK film industry.
The Skillset Film Skills Fund is now offering two types of support for independent SME companies in the UK film industry:
- Human Resources & Training Consultancy Service and
- Funding for Business & Management Skills Training for your staff.

The Continuing Professional Development (CPD) funding closed in September 08 for submissions for this year - next years application dates are soon to be confirmed. Please check this page regularly for updates.
About the Continuing Professional Development Programme 2008
This is a UK-wide programme open to training providers across the Nations and regions, provided their projects address the Funding Priorities described within the programme. Please note that we cannot support projects which are designed simply to support a single business or organisation.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) projects will deliver the specific training and development that's needed by freelance professionals already in the UK's film workforce.

3.Organisation Monitoring Form.
This form is not part of your application but provides us with important information which will help us to ensure that our application process is equal and open. The information you provide will be used for monitoring purposes only. You need to submit this form for both Project Delivery Funding and Innovation Bursaries.

4. Innovation Bursaries
For Innovation Bursaries complete a 2008 Innovation Bursaries Application Form. You should complete this form if you wish to apply for funding to research and develop a training project. 7. 2008 Organisation Budget Form
The 2008 Organisation Budget Form is an excel workbook that contains a How To Guide and the Budget Form. You must fill in the budget sheet for the entire length of your project. Please save it to your computer before completing it electronically
