Screen Academy Scotland, A Skillset Screen Academy
Screen Academy Scotland, based at the new Merchiston Avenue production centre at Napier University, is a collaboration between the University and Edinburgh College of Art (eca). The Academy brings together Napier and eca's existing and new post–graduate programmes in the creative, craft and business skills of film–making and will also offer a range of short courses and continuing professional development opportunities.
What courses are available at the Screen Academy Scotland?
The core programmes offered by the Academy at Napier are:
- MA Screen Project Development
- MA Screenwriting
- PG Cert online Screenwriting
- MFA Advanced Film Practice
Other MA programmes (e.g. in Music Composition for the Screen) are in development.
The one year full–time core programmes offered by the Academy at Edinburgh College of Art are:
- MA in Directing (Fiction)
- MA in Directing (Documentary)
- MA in Editing
- MA in Animation
