Information for training providers

Subsidised courses are aimed at UK freelancers with relevant experience within the creative media industries. Industry representatives on our industry panels have set out a range of criteria to make sure funds address industry needs following Skillset's research findings.

It is the responsibility of the training provider or assessment centre to ensure that only genuine freelancers benefit from these funded courses. Training providers may be asked to reimburse the funds for any money not used appropriately.

Skillset requires that training providers ask for evidence from individuals on their professional experience and ask them to sign a declaration confirming that they fall within the eligibility criteria for this scheme.

If your organisation has any query about the eligibility of an individual, please contact Raechel Leigh Carter - raechelc@skillset.org.
