BA (Hons) Computer Animation at Glamorgan Centre for Art & Design Technology
This internationally recognised award-winning course has been developed in recognition of the need for specific training of 3D animators & artists for the emerging Computer Games, Commercials and Film/TV Animation & VFX industries.
The course begins by providing an introduction to 3D Computer Animation & 3D Digital Art principles through a series of fundamental exercises. Students then progress to advanced computer-based animation and 3D digital art.
The course offers students all the necessary skills required whilst also encouraging creativity, professional practises & the technical requirements required in preparation for employment within the relevant sector of the industry, be that Computer Games, Commercials, TV broadcast animation, Special Effects or CG feature films. Software utilised on the course includes 3D Studio Max, Maya and Softimage XSI.
