IM - Have your say on Digital IP
Publicly-owned organisations spend a lot of money on digital media (estimated approx £285m p.a.).
The National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts (NESTA) and the Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television (Pact) will be launching a new pilot to develop, test and implement a new Intellectual Property Rights Framework for publicly procured digital media.
The pilot will explore whether businesses who keep hold of some of their intellectual property can make money from it and better understand how digital media companies currently use and exploit Inetllectualy Property (IP)
