PI - FD info for students
Foundation Degrees combine academic and work-based learning through close collaboration between employers and providers. They are designed and supported by businesses to ensure that graduates develop the skills and knowledge they need to be effective, valuable employees (or successful freelancers).
Skillset has developed a guidance document to help universities and colleges develope Foundation Degrees with input from employers and freelancers.
Two colleges have formally aligned their courses to these guidelines.
