Qualifications
As a Sector Skills Council, Skillset has an important role to play in the development of qualifications for adults and 14-19 year olds. Qualifications include GCSEs, A’ levels, key skills, technical certificates, National/Scottish Vocational Qualifications (N/SVQs) and other vocational qualifications.
Skillset works with a number of awarding bodies and the regulatory authorities to ensure that vocational and occupational qualifications being developed for use in, or progression into the creative media industries will meet the needs of employers and individuals.
Skillset NVQ Redevelopment
City and Guilds has recently announced the expiry and discontinuation of a number of NVQs in Skillset's footprint - however, we're working with other awarding bodies to ensure the continuation of these important qualifications. Find out more here
