Following the launch of the new Apprenticeship 'family', many more people are now aware of Apprenticeships as an alternative way to learn and to train on the job. By following an Apprenticeship, you can develop occupational skills, as well as the Knowledge experience and understanding of the industry. So, what would you learn by completing an Apprenticeship in Photo Imaging?
The Framework Explained
The framework is for an Apprenticeship at Level 2, or an Advanced Apprenticeship at Level 3. You do not need to do the Apprenticeship in order to follow the Advanced Apprenticeship; however, you do need to demonstrate that you have gained Level 2 qualification(s). For example, if you have achieved GSCEs, including Maths and English, you would meet the entry requirements of the Advanced Apprenticeship.
The framework contains a number of pathways, depending on which NVQ route is followed. The pathways enable the apprentice to develop occupational skills specific to key job roles.
The pathways available are:
Digital Imaging Level 2 Photo Imaging:
Photography Level 2 Photo Processing:
Minilab Processing
Level 3 Photo Imaging:
Digital Imaging Level 3 Photo Imaging:
Digital Photography and Imaging Level 3 Photo Imaging:
