The Film and Video Workshop
The Film and Video Workshop is a training provider that helps young people use multimedia as a creative tool for communication. Their speciality is to provide a bridge between the film industry and education through a range of inspiring animation projects for learners at all levels.
By working with highly trained industry experts and broadcast standard equipment, young people have direct access to the latest techniques and technologies in Animation. Projects are often mobile and can be delivered in partnership with teachers in the classroom, or can be delivered at their dedicated in–house learning centre.
Every year, around 800 young people get to make films through the Film and Video Workshop initiative. Click on the play icon for a taster of what this work related learning experience allowed these students to achieve.
This provider is the largest facilitator of animation produced by young people in the UK. Work made by young has been screened at the London International Animation Festival.
