The 14-19 Diplomas have been designed in response to a need for greater choice and clear pathways through education for young people. The Diploma pathway offers young people a work relevant learning experience that develops the skills employers have identified as key for future work, whilst giving them a broad education that keeps their options open.
Employers, arts organisations and practitioners across the creative industries were consulted in the design of the Diploma in Creative and Media, to ensure the qualification meets the future skills needs of the sector. The Diploma is an umbrella qualification, made up of components that work together to provide a rounded education.
