Delivering the Diploma
The Diploma in Creative and Media is a new qualification which has been available to young people aged 14-19 in some schools and colleges since September 2008.
No school is capable of delivering the full entitlement on its own. Schools, colleges and other providers wishing to offer the Diploma group together into consortia. This collaboration between institutions ensures that the full range of provision is available.
A network of consortia has been created to ensure student access to the Diploma across the whole of England. A second round of consortia will start to operate from September 2009.

Supporting existing consortia
The Diploma Development Partnership for Creative and Media has devised a host of ways to support consortia.
