
BBC Blast
Blast is the BBC's youth creativity service, with a unique combination of online, television, radio, a national truck tour and UK-wide events schedule developed specially for 13 - 19 year olds.
The Blast website offers free tools which enable them to create, develop and showcase their ideas with peer rated galleries, uploaders and message boards. Last year the Blast Truck toured 15 locations across the UK providing BBC staff with the opportunity to support workshops, taster sessions, surgeries and showcase opportunities for over 45 thousand young people.

Blast Trucks are equipped with state of the art technology and profiles work created by young people across BBC platforms including live web-casts on Blast local and national websites, links with BBC local radio and regional TV, BBC Big Screens, downloads to mobiles and bluetooth technology and national showcases on Blast on BBC2. This year the tour hits the road in April with activity programmed right through to November.
Blast on BBC2 is a TV series on youth arts highlighting the best content generated through Blast activities alongside advice from professionals and older peers, and features on innovative digital work across the country. To find out more about Blast simply log on to BBC Blast
