Lantra's Assesment Strategy
Getting qualified
To work towards an N/SVQ, you need to be in full time or part time employment or working as a freelancer in a role that will enable you to demonstrate the skills and knowledge that the N/SVQ covers.
You will be assessed 'on the job' as you demonstrate each of the competencies in the different units. You will also be required to gather evidence to support your performance, which may include witness statements from your employer or external assessor confirming that you have demonstrated a particular skill or set of skills. This portfolio of evidence will be submitted on your completion of the NVQ.
If you are interested in taking one of these NVQs you should contact Sparsholt College, who are the assessment centre offering these qualifications. For further information please contact PAWSI
