Radio Academy Skills and Diversity Forum (RSDF)
The Radio Academy Skills and Diversity Forum will identify and promote best practice in training and development across the radio industry; encourage recognition of the industry's skills in a wider context; and advise and guide the work of the Broadcasting Training and Skills Regulator (BTSR), The Radio Academy and Skillset.
This Forum will meet four to six times a year in order to:
- Guide the development of policy, strategy and project development in the radio industry with an emphasis on
- developing talent
- fostering diversity
- encouraging media literacy
- Provide information and market intelligence on current and potential labour trends and training and skills needs.
- Provide a forum for information exchange, discussion, co-ordination and co-operation within the industry and between the industry and skills development providers
- Assist the BTSR and Skillset in achieving proper and effective communication with all parts of the radio industry.
