When Skilllset talked to people in the radio sector to help us produce a skills strategy, we were told that there needed to be a better understanding between industry and education.
One of the first things we did to help with this was to find out more about the provision of suitable training and education in the UK for the radio industry. This research helps Skillset to identify gaps that need to be filled and target our work accordingly.
