Finding out what the workforce needs
It is essential that Skillset understands and communicates the needs of the creative industries workforce with regard to training, diversity and access issues, and skills gaps and shortages.
Only then can we target Skillset investment to where it is needed most, use Labour Market Intelligence (LMI) to attract investment from Government and public agencies into the industries, and enable employers to prioritise internal training.
