Diversity
The creative media industry both serves, and draws on, the talents and skills of a diverse population.
As the Sector Skills Council for Creative Media, Skillset is proactive in setting and sustaining quality standards of training and development in such a way as to value these differences in the attainment of personal and corporate goals.
Skillset's research evidence is key to achieving this.
Since it started in 2000, the research programme has generated and presented data to monitor representation in the industry of people from minority groups and sought to understand underrepresentation.
