Skills for Tomorrow's Media, the Audio Visual Industries Training Group (AVITG) Report, was published in September 2001. The aim of the report was to analyse skills needs and develop a long-term strategy to ensure the future competitiveness of the audio visual industries.
The AVITG Report was the result of a joint initiatitive by the Department for Culture, Media & Sport and the Skillset Audio Visual Industries Training Group which was chaired by Roger Laughton, bringing together over 75 senior industry figures over two years.
