Gender related links
In 2010 Skillset research found that women still earn less than men within the creative industries for doing the same or similar work. Access is also an issue. Older women are noticeably absent in the industries compared to UK employment patterns as a whole, and they are potentially excluded by the rigours of bringing up children and the incompatability of this with long hours and chaotic employment patterns.
The following organisations work to promote employment diversity for women, family carers, and the LGBT commmunities.
