11 March 2003

Clive Jones, Head of Carlton TV, Joint Managing Director of ITV and Skillset Chair, said:
"As a Sector Skills Council, one of Skillet's most important challenges is to ensure that training partners and providers deliver standards that meet industry needs and supply highly skilled new entrants to the workforce. The Skillset Approvals System is an industry agreed benchmark that will do just that. Congratulations to Screen Yorkshire on becoming the first Regional Training Partner to earn the industry's official seal of approval."
