Skillset operates a comprehensive programme of research about the creative media industries themselves and the training provision available to them. Our research programme is endorsed by industry and managed by Skillset's research team:
Neil Flintham – Director of Research
Neil manages Skillset's programme of labour market and skills research which includes both regular cross-industry initiatives and ad hoc sector or occupation-specific projects, in response to demand.

Catherine Godward – Research Manager
Catherine works closely with Skillset's Director of Research and leads on a number of particular research projects, including cross-industry work (e.g. Skillset Industry Census and Workforce Survey) and sector-specific projects (for example, a major survey of the film sector workforce).

Karen Muir – Research Manager
Karen works alongside the other members of the research team to deliver a programme of both quantitative and qualitative research on skills issues. This includes an ongoing cycle of cross-industry work (Skillset Employment Census and Workforce Survey) and ad-hoc projects specific to particular sectors or nations/regions.
