National Occupational Standards (NOS) have been developed for the majority of industrial and occupational sectors in the UK. You may be interested in some of the other sets of standards available which focus specifically on key generic areas of competence such as administration, management and leadership, IT user Skills and Busines Enterprise. The Management and Leadership Standards developed by the Management Standards Centre are one of the most flexible and generic NOS. These standards address vital areas of skill to everyone working in the creative media industries.
