Sound

The standards provide the most up to date description of the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to perform the main roles and responsibilities for occupations within the audio visual sector.

Developed by industry practitioners, employers and other key stakeholders the standards show exactly what is required of professionals in the industry.

You may wish to download the complete documents but it is also possible to browse the standards by job title, or download individual units. The units are listed in production process order.

The Sound standards cover occupations in the Film, Television and Radio sectors of the audio visual industries but further work is required to fully reflect occupations in the radio sector.
