Advertising Sales
These National Occupational Standards are for the media and advertising sales sector in the creative industries, specifically publishing (newspapers and magazines), radio, and TV.
Standards provide a clear, up to date description of what an individual needs to be able do in order to perform a job successfully. The Standards have been developed by both people who work in the industry and experts from each occupational area through a process of investigation, analysis and consultation with a wide range of people.
Skillset would like to thank all the employers and trade organisations, including the The Newspaper Society and the Professional Publishers Association, who supported the development of these standards.
