Skillset has developed and published sector-specific strategies and actions plans for Film, Television, Interactive Media and Computer Games and Photo Imaging. We are currently in the process of developing sector strategies for Animation and Radio.
We were the first SSC to publish a Sector Skills Agreement (SSA). Skillset's SSAs are strategic action plans which are truly demand driven, providing the mechanism for film, television and interactive media to deliver tailored solutions together in collaboration with Government and strategic partners.
In the English regions, a range of strategies and draft action plans have been developed to define and drive all regional skills development activity in the audio visual industries, designed to meet the needs of each area.
