Support for Freelancers
A major part of Skillset's remit is to ensure that freelancers in the creative media industries have the right skills at the right time. We offer information and careers advice, bursaries, subsidised courses, and other training resources to support freelancers in maintaining and advancing their skills. If you are an experienced freelancer you should be able to access a reduced rate on a range of programmes that Skillset funds, as well as making use of the various free services we offer.
The services we offer to freelancers are collected below. Unfortunately, the nature of our funding and remit prevents us from sponsoring individuals or providing general scholarships, although we do provide information in our Funding section on the financial support that is available to individuals from other sources.
