New Entrants Schemes
Skillset is committed to ensuring the creative media industries have the right people doing the right jobs at the right time. Part of this commitment is working to ensure that new entrants to the industry are fully prepared for the exciting, demanding and challenging career that the industries provide.
One of the ways in which Skillset does this is by funding new entrant schemes, qualifications support, and careers advice for those just starting out in the industry.
Skillset supports a number of these new entrant schemes across the UK. Skillset supported schemes combine short course training with industry work placements and assessment to get your qualifications.
There are also a number of new entrant schemes being run that aren’t supported by Skillset, usually because they’re set up as in-house schemes to train people to work for one particular company rather than helping new entrants become freelancers.
If you want to acquire the right skills and abilities to break into the industry, one of the new entrant schemes listed below could help you.
