About Our Work
Skillset's work in television has been guided since 2006 by the TV Skills Strategy, formulated after a comprehensive consultation with the industry. However, recognising the pace of change, Skillset conducted some further consultation early in 2008 including a TV Forum event, attended by a wide cross-section of industry.
Skillset takes a partnership approach to its work and most of its initiatives and activities involve and depend on key partners. Increasingly, our TV work is framed within the broader context of digital media convergence. Promoting a diverse workforce is also integral to all activity.
