
Skillset Cymru Training Framework
The Skillset Cymru Training Framework, supports production companies and freelancers to enhance their skills in the challenging and constantly evolving creative media industries.
The framework, developed in partnership with S4C and the Welsh Assembly Government, is open to all Wales-based freelancers and companies. A free training needs assessment from a Human Resource Development (HRD) advisor is on offer, as well as a chance to get funding for recommended courses.
Support for Companies in Wales:
Production companies based in Wales can receive high-level, professional support to identify their staff's training and development needs. Companies can also apply for funding towards the costs of training.

Support for Freelancers in Wales:
If you work as a freelancer in Wales, you can apply to the Skillset Cymru Training Framework for bursaries to attend training courses. You can also apply for free individual training advice and guidance from a specialist sector training advisor. The advisor will help you assess your training needs and direct you to sources of financial support for training.
