Training and Education
Skillset aims to facilitate and contribute to productive working relationships between creative media industries, further and higher education institutions and training providers in the region. Three years ago, the Midlands team set up an East Midlands Education Focus Group which met for the first time in September 2005 and now gathers once a term, at rotated venues across the region.
The Education Focus Group (EFG) provides a great opportunity for regional providers of creative media courses to network and discuss opportunities and challenges for the region.

Skillset also led on the development of the Diploma in Creative and Media and are now offering support and resources via our website to regional school and college consortia which will be delivering the Diploma in the East Midlands from 2008.
