CAVENDISH CENTRE – the Creative and Performing Arts campus of the College offers a wide range of courses in visual art, performing art, music & media studies
SEDC provides a wide range of full time courses for all levels.
A vibrant mix of A level and Levels 1 to 3 programmes are led by highly qualified teachers, many with industry experience.
High quality facilities available to all students using specialist equipment and materials including industry standard software for media, music and art; studios with space and atmosphere and a fully equipped theatre. New courses in 2005 include BTEC National Diplomas in Art & Design and Media Games Development.

Part time courses
Evening and day time courses are organised throughout the area to make them more accessible to local people in diverse areas e.g. felt making, batik, papermaking, silk screen, drawing, painting, ceramics, life drawing, photoshop and digital photography and pre-degree foundation.

Successes
The campus has an excellent achievement record. The students in all programme areas gain good Higher Education places.
There is also excellent progression between levels. Many students who have begun on Level 1 courses have since progressed through to Level 3 and gained places at university.
