Mediabox
This fund for disadvantaged 13-19 year olds offers the opportunity to develop and produce creative media projects. It offers three types of grants ranging from £1,000 to £40,000 to create and distribute youth-led media projects.
The stage one application deadline is Tuesday 19th August and the stage two full application deadline is Tuesday 30th September. There will be surgeries running throughout July for one to one sessions across the region, please register interest by email, a project outline will be required.

Rutland Photography Competition 2008

CULTIVATE
Development Support for Arts Organisations
Progress is a regional programme to help develop small and emerging arts organisations organised by Cultivate and delivered by Creative Leicestershire in Leics & Rutland. If successful, you will get an initial diagnostic session which could lead onto other forms of support such as training or mentoring. There is a simple application form and the programme is ongoing (with monthly deadlines).

Free Business Advice
Creative Leicestershire provide a free service of up to 15 hours of one–to–one business advice to small creative companies and freelancers based in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
www.leicestershirecreatives.org.uk is Creative Leicestershire's new directory of creative services for businesses. The directory covers graphic design, web design, 3D design, multimedia including film/video, event management and marketing in all its forms. You can upload information on what your business does, a logo and 3 pictures for free as long as you are already trading and based in Leicestershire or Rutland and have a business website. Marketing of the site will begin once a sufficient amount of businesses are on the directory.
